BDF bred "Mia", now residing at Woodside in California  (Trakehner x Connemara). This mare received 9's on her gaits from "S" level dressage judges and was sold to Michelle Cale for her daughter, Charlotte. With Charlotte as a very young teen, the pair were USEF Halfbred Connemara of the Year - 2015 Eventing and the Region 6 Junior Training Level Dressage Reserve Champions! Currently competing together at Training Level Eventing.

 

2009  Mare, Black Dog's Fiorella (Trakehner) x WH Topgun (Connemara)

 

 

This lovely mare was originally retained by BDF for five years and both Beth and her friend Lauren DeLalla showed Mia in eventing.  In May of 2014, BDF decided to offer this lovely mare for sale and she was sold to the Cale Family in Palo Alto, CA and currently Mia resides at The Horse Park at Woodside.  Mia will be eventing with Charlotte, who is hoping to qualify with Mia for Young Riders in the next few years.  Their trainer is John Robertson, who used to compete the Glenormiston stallions in Australia!

 

Mia has three exceptional gaits and is 15.3 at five years of age.  As a Trakehner/Connemara cross, Mia got the best of both breeds - athletic and graceful and full of personality.  She has evented to the Novice level, with 9's on dressage tests, scores as low as 26 and both brave and beautiful over fences.  We miss this lovely girl every day.

Flute went to her new owner, Cheyenne Gerow, in Pennsylvania in April 2012.  We are happy to report they have formed quite a partnership and qualified for Pony Club Finals in 2012 after only 6 weeks together!

 

MAY 2013 UPDATE:  Flute and Cheye were 4th of 16 in the Junior Beginner Novice Division at Plantation Field Recognized USEA event!

Feb 2011:  Toby won two 1sts and a second at the LDA Schooling Show Valentine's Weekend with new owner, Hunter Guynn.

 

2010:  Two 3rd place finishes at Region IV 2010 Connemara Show (Intro dressage 69%!).  Schooling Dressage Show, Champion Intro Dressage and High Point Pony (67%).

Achievements:  Too many to list, 2004 Zone 4 USEF 5th and 6th place finishes, Children's Hunter Pony over fences.  Multiple achievement awards in dressage, in hand and hunters.  Last known location, NC.

 

 

 

1995 TB Gelding, JC Name Askarben's Ghost

 

Kenai won year end awards for PCHA in 2003 and 2004 in Hunters and Equitation.  He was reserve champion one year in under 35 year olds.  Won ribbons as high as 3rd place at HITS Ocala.  Multiple wins and high placings through Level 2 Jumpers and Dressage to First Level.  Deceased.
