Scooter is the mixed breed dog (best guess: German shorthair/lab/pit XX) that is the namesake of this farm.
Found by Beth wandering a California road in September of 1992 as an abandoned 3 week old puppy, she matured into the best
friend and companion a person could ever have. Scooter always impressed us with her intelligence, good humor and
being "almost human". Because of Scooter, we now own two purebred German shorthaired pointers. While Dory and
Magic are wonderful dogs, Scooter was truly a gift.
We lost her just shy of her 15th birthday, in July 2007. I will always miss her presence in our lives. She
was my "once in a lifetime dog".
