Beth and Alan Davidson bought the property on Barton Road in 2001, just two weeks after their wedding. The
farm is 25 acres and houses the Davidson family, which consists of daughters Anneke and Brylie and an assortment of horses
and ponies. A few cats (Maisy and Kanga) along with our lovely german shorthairs round out the family. Both Anneke
and Brylie are members of the South Creek Pony Club.
Beth is a lifelong equestrian who started in hunter/jumpers and became active in dressage in the mid 1990's.
While she only competed through 2nd level, she met some wonderful mentors while working at Dressage CDI's in Klaus
Fraessdorf, David Distler, Mary Silcox and Lloyd Landkamer. They encouraged her to become more active in USDF and
USEF and consequently she now holds a USEF license for Dressage TD ('r') as well as being an FEI Level 1 Steward for
Dressage and Eventing.
A few years ago Beth was introduced to the dark side (Eventing) and has fallen in love with the sport. Beth
has competed to Training Level Eventing, with the pony Forrest Nymph, who is now a CCI** pony with Sinead Halpin
competing her at Intermediate. The breeding program at BDF aims to maximize potential in eventing, by crossing lovely
connemara ponies with TB and Trakehner lines.
Beth is now very active in officiating at national dressage shows and at FEI CCI's and CDI's. Please contact Beth
via email or phone if you require a Dressage TD 'r' for national shows or an FEI Steward for Dressage or Eventing.
